Current Active Training/Treatment Projects!
Israel Trauma Care provides non-profit trauma treatment for a cross section of families who have been victims of terror in Israel. ITC's teaching branch, AAMET Israel is looking for a sponsor for 10 of these families who have been progressing in remediation of their family trauma, to sponsor a week long vacation retreat in a coastal hotel. The families will be sponsored based on their diversity, level of suffering, and economic incapacity to go on a vacation. This retreat will be mostly vacation, and offer daily EFT/NLP based group therapy training, as well as individual help. These sessions will both train Energy Psychology self treatment skills, and enable trauma resolution through the group experience. These sessions will be filmed with the permission of the participants, for study as a teaching vehicle for learning how to resolve terror traumas. This pilot project is the basis for developing group work vacations as a fast track method for trauma resolution and rehabilitation. Our additional goal is to unify a diverse group of Jewish families who have commonly suffered from terror traumas, thereby promoting more unity amongst the Jewish people. A professional film featuring international experts in Energy Psychology, and teaching demonstrations will be produced for international distribution, to promote this method of group Energy Psychology based intervention.
Rural Israel Trauma Care and AAMET Israel Training Center
Our outcome is that every citizen will be able to receive trauma care TRAINING and personal help, without having to admit to the need for, or seek "treatment".
Professional teachers will be trained to administer and teach Meridian Therapy and other self-applicable, immediately calming techniques
on a professional level to teach hospitals, schools, social and defense care services.
Networking of national and international trauma care experts who will give regularly scheduled practical trainings, so that many professional and lay people can share and be trained in the latest effective techniques-trauma care will become the property of the masses, which is necessary in these abnormal circumstances. Professionals will teach, advise, and monitor both the progress, and the dissemination of techniques. We teach proven effective techniques that can be taught to the masses without contraindications. Both the level of teaching and structured supervised support groups enable normal citizens to help themselves with major issues including grief sadness, stress anxiety, and fear. Additionally, young people can walk in or telephone for help.
Expansion of systematic outreach care for actual terror victims and their families. Professional level training for caretakers---paramedics, social, and medical professionals, and everyone who has direct contact with victims. Our goal is train more effective helpers, and teach and monitor prevention and treatment of Compassion Fatigue.
An extensive audio-visual interactive trauma relief skills teaching library offering practical certified trainings, and internships that require helping victims. The ITC Library will produce effective and entertaining teaching videos, which will also provide therapeutic and educational entertainment for all ages. All course work will have in residency small group work requirements to assure that graduates can
effectively administer the techniques to successfully calm people seeking help, so the knowledge is not just studied, but also owned and usable.
ITC AAMET Israel Mobile Trauma Relief Facilitator Teams
Teams of three ITC Facilitators will be assigned to North, Central, and South Israel to come when needed and train and treat affected local group populations, and families of injured people. Based on a model Rabbi Legomsky personally studied with the Director of the Institute of
Traumatology in South Florida, we will service emergencies affecting local populations immediately, and train and supervise local people to continue in a support group format.
ITC AAMET Israel Trauma Relief Teaching Concert for Terror Victims
Israel Trauma Care is seeking a sponsor for a free music concert inviting and transporting terror victims to a centrally located, wheelchair accessible Israeli concert hall. A diverse group of victims and music stars will be invited with the theme of Jewish Unity in Israel against terror. Each music star will be asked to write a new song, that expresses positive hope and healing from terror. This day long concert will also feature banquet dining. The central part of this concert will be the 2 ½ hour afternoon section where ITC will train the audience our self treatment techniques through a live group treatment. We will demonstrate how these techniques are immediately effective for a diverse audience without having to talk about or revisit the actual terror traumas. Based on international experience, this is an extremely gentle, unifying, and profoundly effective form of individual and group trauma care. From our training course graduates, many volunteer facilitators will be dispersed through the crowd to provide personal assistance. The entire event will be filmed for its musical entertainment value, and as a teaching aid for learning group trauma relief tools.
